Meet Harry
Before paying some old guy to party at your show, you probably want to know a bit about me! I'm Harry and I'm kind of a strange dude. I grew up on the beach in Dash Point, Washington, which has some of the most incredible sunsets you'll ever see. That's where I learned to embrace color!
I was a college student in the 1960s and earned my bachelors degree from the University of Washington with the first cohort of the new environmental health department. Coming of age during the 50s, 60s, and 70s was a wild ride. I got to see Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Chubby Checker, and Keith Morrill & The Fabulous Wailers in concert. How could I not fall in love with music? After graduating, I sold shoes at Stanley's shoe store in Tacoma, WA. A spot that catered to the hippie crowd, my people.
I was a shockingly good shoe salesman. People loved to buy things from someone with a personality to match the colors and patterns of the shoes. It was a great fit. I even did the radio ads for the store. On acid. For the rest of my working days I installed septic systems to help out the neighbors in my beach community (literally worked in shit). But I never stopped dancing.
I've been married (three times, but we won't talk about that...) and raised three awesome kids who got married and are raising kids of their own. Now I get to play fun grandpa and "uncle" to a troop of grandkids and grand nephews and nieces. Even as a dad and grandpa I let my freak flag fly. My kids were raised going to see live music where I wasn't afraid to rock the odd outfit or mode of transportation.
Now retired, I spend my time following around the bands I love and dancing
my ass off. Some of my favorite bands to party with are Samantha Fish, Tommy Castro, Jonathon Long, Nich Vigarino, Randy Oxford, and the Curse of Lano (UK). Unsurprisingly, the more outrageous my costumes and dance moves, the more likely people will get up to dance and party with me. Whether I'm getting sections of a baseball field to chant and do the wave or getting a somber crowd to start shaking it to music, I have a natural talent for igniting a crowd. So now, I'm living my best life traveling around in my '76 Winnebago Chieftain and getting parties ignited.
